2022 Jeep Gladiator Truck for Sale | Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton

February 11th, 2019 by

Jeep people aren’t like regular folk. They like to stand-apart and the vehicles they drive have to stand-apart, too. While the 2022 Jeep Gladiator is considered a pickup, it’s not your average truck and the people buying them are not just looking for any pickup.  “This is a brand that has adapted to the market by adopting consumers who aren’t looking for vehicles, transportation or appliances,” says Tim Kuniskis, head of Jeep Brand North America. “They’re looking for Jeeps, and we’ve done it by feeding the aspirations of the active, fulfilling the fantasies of modern commuters and delivering the tool of choice for the mundane-fearing millennials.” Kuniskis says the Gladiator is a 4×4 for “restless adventurers.”

So, if you identify as a restless adventurer it might be a good idea to pre-order with Team Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and launch that dream of owning a Gladiator. You can reach us at 905-819-0001 and then you can start getting excited for a March delivery date. That’ll make spring come sooner, won’t it?

The Gladiator will be available in Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon trims, framing the standard 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 and boasts 285 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque. The V6 is engineered for low-end torque, producing the heft required for an intense off-road experience. It features a standard six-speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic. If a diesel engine is what floats your boat, 2022 will bring a 3.0 litre EcoDiesel V6 with an eight-speed manual transmission. The Gladiator offers stop/start technology that can be deactivated, whenever you want it to, with the simple push of a button.

If you own a lot of beefy toys that you like to bring with you, you’re in luck. The Gladiator sports 7,560 lbs of towing capacity and 1600 lbs of payload. Its 5-foot steel bed features a damped, power-locking aluminum tailgate with three-position stops. If you need extra storage for Little Johnny’s 12 different sets of Lego, his tricycle and every last one of his stuffies, you can get that too with the optional Trail Cargo Management System.

If you’re wondering what the Rubicon has in store for you, here’s a list:

  • Dana 44 axles with 4:10 gears
  • Rock-Trac 4×4 system with a 4:1 crawl ratio
  • Proprietary Fox Shocks
  • Tru-Lock electronic front/rear lockers and limited-slip differential
  • Electronic disconnecting sway bar
  • High-clearance fenders
  • 33-inch off-road tires
  • Steel rock rails that protect the cab and bed
  • Heavy-duty steel rear bumper
  • Functional vented aluminum hood
  • Skid plates
  • Available off-road performance pages app
  • Forward-facing trail camera

The interior resembles the Wrangler and features circular gauges with platinum chrome bezels and round HVAC vents. Depending on the trim you decide on, the seats are either cloth or leather with accent stitching, lumbar supports and adjustable side bolsters. As we live in colder climes, there is also the optional Cold Weather Group package featuring heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. And who doesn’t appreciate a warm butt and hands?

The rear seat design is all about functionality and offers lots of designated spaces for all your storage needs. The under seat storage bins are configured in a 60/40 split, like the seats and they can be compartmentalized into five sections with locking lids.

For a rugged vehicle, the 2022 Jeep Gladiator also boasts a touch-of-class with its advanced fourth-generation Uconnect Infotainment system. You’ve got a choice of 5-inch, 7-inch or 8.4-inch NAV screens providing navigation, communications and entertainment. Also, standard on 7-inch and 8.4-inch screens are Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

If you like to live outside the status quo, you’d best be getting your name on the pre-order list as delivery is coming up fast.
