2019 Dodge Challenger & Lego Commercial | For Sale in Mississauga

Throughout history there have been some truly inspired partnerships:  Martin & Lewis, Batman & Robin, Tom & Jerry, Laurel & Hardy, Bert & Ernie, peanut butter & jam and milk & cookies just to name a few of the most memorable. But how about Dodge and The Lego Group? Don’t tell me you haven’t heard the latest, Brampton, Oakville and Burlington?

In a colorful attempt at building brand loyalty among the younger set, Dodge has teamed up with The Lego Group to produce a 30-second commercial starring the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and National Hot Rod Association drag racing champion, Leah Pritchett. They will also be creating a Lego set featuring the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the iconic 1970 Dodge Charger R/T. When I was a kid I built rectangles and squares out of Lego. Sad, I know, but I will save that for my therapist.  I’m not bitter.

Rare, limited edition Lego sets generate excitement as they are collectible and can turn out to be valuable investments for intrepid collectors. Apparently, younger generations haven’t been in a big hurry to buy cars and have little interest in auto brands. But ask them about Lego and they know their stuff. Marketers work hard at creating emotional connections for consumers and few things have a more emotional tie for you than your childhood toys. Besides being a brilliant marketing strategy, we just think it’s downright fun.
