2018 Ram 1500 Trucks, what changed? | Team Chrysler Mississauga
There's a new Ram 1500 hitting the streets in Mississauga and we think you'll like it. Although some changes have been implemented, the redesigned Ram will continue to use steel for most body panels on the redesigned pickup. Steel allows for more adventurous design shaping. We’ll see some smart style lines front-to-rear around the top of the wheel wells, giving the Ram a more muscled look.
The 1500 is powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with direct injection and the option of turbocharging. Here’s a great bit of news for Mississauga commuters: FCA improves fuel economy on the truck with fuel-saving belt-start generators in the next-generation version. The popular pickup will hang onto its elevated hood and imposing chrome grille, with a slight shape change. Headlights and taillights will both shrink down, and horizontal fog lights will be integrated into the front bumper.
In short, the 2018 Ram 1500 keeps what works best and adds some very nice modifications. If you’d like to check out our Ram inventory, stop by Team Chrysler.
