2018 Ram 1500 Sport, What Changed? Mississauga, Brampton, Ontario

700 × 525
Change is good, especially as we head for a new year. For 2018, Ram 1500 Sport models offer up a roster of new options and trims, as well as some special edition models. Get ready for the 2018 Ram 1500/2500 Sport and Big Horn Black models. Your favourite stalwart pickup looks a little different this coming season, and we’re stoked to share what we know till we can take you for a test drive in person closer to the end of 2017.

Bye-bye crosshair grille, and hello to a flared-nostril look that means business. Smack in the middle of the lineup is the Sport model, all dark badges and body-coloured bumpers and trim. Two scoops on the hood and dark surrounds for the headlights are reminiscent of the Challenger. The bold RAM letters in the centre of the grille are new as well, letting everyone in Mississauga and Brampton know what you’re driving.

And we mustn’t leave out the super sexy Big Horn Black edition, slotted just below the Sport trim and looking sleek with classic black on black…everything! Black paint, black wheels, badges, and black trim: you’re going to love it. It stays true to the traditional cross grille the Ram Sport is leaving behind, but gets its saucy on nicely with the revamped hood borrowed from the abovementioned Sport model. Both trucks go on sale later this year and you know you’re going to have a hard time choosing. We vote for one of each. Talk to Santa—he’ll be hanging out on the sales floor at Team Chrysler.
