2014 Jeep Cherokee Offers Controversial Design, Classic Performance

Those of you who follow mythology might be aware of
reputation of the phoenix, a legendary bird that represents rebirth. And if one
car in the upcoming Team Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM roster that fits this, it's
the 2014 Jeep Cherokee.

The Cherokee, which has been absent from the Jeep
brand lineup since 2001, has been remade and quite a few people are talking
about it. Some are raving fans of the new SUV. Some, however, not so
much.

According to the Jeep brand, this is a good
thing.

"A little bit of tension is never bad,"
said the Jeep brand's head of North America, Jim Morrison. "It’s good for
the brand and it’s good for our dealers, who get to bring more people into the
showroom."1

Most of the tension that Mr. Morrison mentioned
comes from the remade SUV's designs. Fronted by a shark-like snout with
slit-like headlights, it doesn't exactly encapsulate the brand's signature
look.

But what it lacks in classic appeal, it makes up
for in classic performance. The new Cherokee is impressively fuel efficient,
with its 2.4L Tigershark Multiair I-4 offering 6.3L/100km (45 mpg) highway on
4x2 iterations. You can also explore the Jeep brand's off-roading capability on
its amazing Trailhawk trim.

The best way to form your own view on the new
Cherokee, however, is to try it out for yourself. This new SUV hasn't quite
arrived yet at our Mississauga, ON dealership, but if you
contact us, we can let
you know when it gets here.

You can also get in touch with us with any
questions you have about other new Jeep brand
models, and to schedule test drives.
